While young and middle-aged people relocated and moved to other cities and countries there remain many retired people who are determined to die at a place where they were born. They live in the absence of power, water. Food and medication shortages are frequent. The ruins and horror fill the empty streets where once life flourished.

Pastor Yurii and his team do a lot of visitations and take the church to people. They lead people to Christ right where they live. They have started the project “Fresh bread for the Eastern towns and villages” and have delivered tens of thousands of loaves of fresh bread to the areas where it seems like life stopped.
